The unfortunate fact is that the fate of these particular animals is sealed, but you can be the hope behind preventing future generations from ending up in those same cages. We ask that you think of these animals awaiting almost certain death in the shelter – scared, alone and frightened. Please give the gift that will make the difference – join in our mission and help us in building a better future for all of New York City’s animals. Please donate.

JUNE 27, 2009 -- THE TOBY PROJECT was awarded a Proclamation by City Councilman G. Oliver Koppell in recognition for its efforts in The Bronx. As of that date, more than 550 spays and neuters had been performed in that borough. Dr. Jenny Ripka, The Toby Project's spay/neuter surgeon accepted the award on behalf of The Project. Also on hand to accept citations were veterinary technician Lisa Ranallo, Chair of Location Planning & Logistics Committee Lori Behrman, Gov't Liaison Chair Sheryl Miller, and Van Coordinator Jennifer Ratchford.
